The 2km course is equivalent to 2 laps around the Kings Cross Estate.
The starting line will be on Stable Street and the finish in Cubitt Square.
ABOUT THE RUN
On Arrival
Head to your school’s registration desk on Lewis Cubitt Square to confirm your attendance.
Collect your running bib number and your child’s wristband.
Write your name and phone number on the wristband (before attaching it) in case your child gets lost.
Affix your child's running bib with the safety pins provided.
Proceed to your allocated colour zone to wait for your warm-up.
Marshals will direct you to the stage for your warm-ups and to the start line 5 minutes before your start. Please wait for your race group to be called to avoid congestion at the start line.
During the Run
Stay on the course and be respectful of the runners around you.
Follow any guidance from the race marshals who will be stationed at regular intervals.
If you or someone gets injured, step away from the track and call for a race marshal to come assist you.
Try your best to complete the course. Have fun and don't give up!
Practical Information
All runners receive a finisher’s medal and a healthy snack on completion of the course. There will be 3First Aid points around the course, on Granary Square, Canal Walk and Cubitt Square.
There are a 2 water fountains on Cubitt Square where you can refill your water bottles
Public toilets and baby changing facilities are available in two locations at Coal Drops Yard and West Handyside Canopy (near Waitrose). All toilets are wheelchair accessible.
There is free WiFi on the estate. Just connect to ‘King’s Cross N1C’ and complete the registration. You can login via Facebook, Twitter, or simply enter your email address.
