Our first Run Stratford Run event was held at the stunning London Marathon Community Track. 300 attendees from 3 schools in Newham and Hackney came to support and run the 2k course.
A huge thank you to all the school staff, parents, sports coaches from E20 Football Foundation and Badu Sports who helped us organise a fantastric afternoon of fun & fitness.

The champions of the day were the runners. Children as young as 3 years old, their parents, grandparents, PE teachers, sports coaches . . . all challenged themselves to a 2k run. Everyone completed the course - some at lightning speed - while the whole community cheered them on.
Well done to all the runners, big and small, for taking on the 2k running challenge !

All participants were running to raise funds for their schools.
The funds collected have been earmarked for special projects: new interactive playgrounds, PE equipment, sports coaches for competitions and school trips to promote wellbeing.
Thanks to the generous support of Arrow Capital Partners and Get Living, each school will receive a £5,000 donation to get their projects off the ground.
